Hi dears. Back from my trip to Disney. I had a wonderful time and have some pictures and stories to share with you.

Day 1: Magic Kingdom

The day before, I arrived in Orlando around 6, and took a taxi to Universal City Walk, where my boyfriend and his group were waiting. I got a lot of funny looks bringing my luggage into City Walk, but it was the best place to meet because it was where they were definitely going to be.

We decided to go to MK first instead of Hollywood Studios like we had originally planned because Saturday was bound to be busier than Friday. We made the right decision, because we never stood in line for more than about 10 minutes, even on the more popular rides.

Some pics:

SpectroMagic is pretty much my favorite parade ever. Because we originally planned to go to MK on Saturday, I was afraid I wouldn't get to see it. So when we decided to switch, I was ridiculously happy, because it's always been my dream to see the parade with someone I love, and I got to see it with my bf <3 He also found us a great viewing spot right at the beginning of the parade route on Main Street.

Also, here's a video I recorded of Jack Sparrow's pirate tutorial. Had to split it into two parts to get it on YouTube.

As far as dining went, we ate lunch at the Pinocchio-themed restaurant next to Small World so we could watch the boats (what's the name of it again?). We wanted to go to the noodle place in Tomorrowland for dinner, but it was closed, so we ate at the Plaza Restaurant. I'd recommend it, though it wasn't the best place I've eaten at in the MK.

Next: Hollywood Studios

We went on October 4th, and my bf's friend Richard came along with us. We took a taxi from the villa to the Swan, and then took a boat from Swan to the park. Halfway through the day, we took a bus to Downtown Disney to do some shopping, and then went back to the part for more rides and dinner.

Goofing off while waiting for the boat back to Swan.

For food, we ate at Pizza Planet at lunch, and managed to get last minute reservations at the Prime Time Cafe for dinner. We LOVED the Prime Time. Richard got in trouble for not eating all his food. I highly recommend the pot roast.

Oh, almost forgot to mention: WE GOT A DREAM! At about 10:30 in the morning, we were seated in Space Tours, waiting for the ride to start, and a cast member came in and gave us dream fastpasses. We only ended up using it for the Toy Story ride, because the queues were so short and we didn't want to do the thrill rides, but it was still really awesome to get them.

Next up: Epcot.

The last full day I was down there, October 5th, we went to Epcot, which is my favorite park. Pictures:

BF bought a ****** in Japan. We cuddled it while we waited for Illuminations.

For foodage, we ate lunch at the Yakitori House in Japan. The shrimp tempura with udon noodles was delicious. Also nutritious. We ate dinner at the San Angel Inn, which I think bf enjoyed more than I did, though I did like it. I also ate a frozen banana. It was lovely.

That's it for this trip, sadly. But soon I shall start planning a longer trip for 2010, this time with different people, but hopefully my bf will still come.
