When we were at the AKL earlier we did venture over to the pool at Kidani. I liked it. The slide there is awesome! It was smaller, smaller than what I thought it would be. One of the very first things that went through my mind were the guest who will be effected by the coming pool refurb at Jambo. I just don't see how that pool of that size is supposed to be enough for guest of both resorts when the Jambo pool gets shut down for refurb.:scared:

My opinion is that a majority of guests won't bother making the "trek" over to the Kidani pool from Jambo house. I don't think it's going to be the disaster some are predicting. I could be way off, but that's my feeling after having multiple stays with the main feature pools being shut down. I went in thinking "the leisure pools are going to be jammed" but they weren't. And all were prime swimming time.

When we stayed at AKL, we liked the Kidani splash/play zone but did not like the pool. We felt it was way to small and the slide was just okay. I agree with most of dansdad post, but I do think there will be disappointed guests that were expecting a bigger pool and area.
