My Tattoo

Hey guys, i got a tattoo like a week ago and i finally got a hold of a camera haha.. anyway here it is:

Thats my initials in the middle.... the letters going around my initials are the initials of my family members... The wings represent my family lifting me through life.. in a way, they are my "flames of life," hence why their initials are in flames... i know.. its really cheesy, but its sometihng i wont regret getting lol:

I'm dyyyying to get a tattoo, but I cannot decide what I want to get.
I want to get something meaningful but it's SO hard to decide WHAT.
I want to get mine either where yours is or up a little more so its o the back of my neck.

I want that on the inside of my left wrist, right over my pulse.
The reason: I'm only alive when I'm under a palm tree.

amanda: yep, im jake haha.. and yeaa lol, prior to this, i was just putting random temporary/henna tattoos all over myself just so i could see what positioning i liked best XD... i obviously liked my back the most

thanks! and it didnt hurt too bad for the most part... if you ever accidently stabbed yourself with a lead pencil, it feels like that over and over again lol... the parts that were centered on my spinal chord (right in the center) werent bad at all.. but i do admit that the wings were painful, because it was right over my trapeze muscle lol..

and sweet to hear that you want to get one! personally, i think its cuter for girls to get it a little bit higher up (but the design has to be small haha) than where i have it.. and for meaningfulness, id stick with family related things... your interest and hobbies can change, but your family will always be there.. they dont get old haha... i had my design for half a year before i decided to get it.... the best thing to do is to draw your design, put it somewhere that youll see it everyday, and just look at it.. if after a long time, you still like it, it means that itll never get old for you..just as long as you dont get sick of the design, it should be good .. hope that helps haha.. lemme know if you have any questions

haha cool! and yeaaa, i want a wrist tattoo too but i can only get something in a place that i can easily cover up (for job interviews and such) ....but nice! like i said earlier, just keep looking at it for a long time.. make sure youll always like it and that itll never get old before getting it

I draw it on my wrist all the time when I'm bored with a pen. My drawing stinks, but I love it there. And it'll be small, so I can cover it up for job interviews and such easily. Like I said before, I just have to work up the nerve to actually get it. I'm 18, so I don't need parental consent, even though I already talked to them about it and they're ok. (Dad was much easier to convince than Mom, of course. )
