How exciting, Wendy - your are probably arriving at your hotel right about now! Hope you have a fantastic magical trip and we look forward to reading all about it when you get back (and lots of pics)!
Nice, how sweet you are. This would be a very romantic anniversary for the both of you. Happy anniversary. Make it the happiest anniversary ever and enjoy.
I think I found you from MeMom's thread. How SWEET for your hubby to plan everything!
I know you guys had a wonderful time and can't wait to see all your pictures from your new camera
I think you said you were in Greenup. Random thing but I remember when I was in HS their cheerleaders made it to the nationals. I think their colors were green and gold if I remember correctly ??? Just funny that's the first thing I thought of when I read that.
Happy Anniversary and I hope you're loving your trip!
Me and my girlfriend are 22 and 23... we've been together since we were 15! Chilhood sweethearts. I booked a suprise trip for us. We're going in September for a full 2 weeks, to coincide with our anniversary. We'll be doing Disney for the most part, but also Discovery Cove and Sea World. We're both Disney fanatics! And she was so thrilled when I told her I had been working my *** off and riding the overtime train and had saved secretly to pay for it.
We've both been several time before but never together. We did Disnelyland Pari (we're in the UK) for our 5th anniversary, but this will be that much better!
I'll let you into a secret to - there'll be a proposal whilst we're there
Good Morning Everyone We're back. We got home last night around 11:00. I can't wait to tell you all about the trip. It was amazing. My DH had a few surprises under his sleeve that I can't wait to tell you about. I took lots of pictures and I'll try to start uploading them to photobucket today. I may start the TR this evening. If not I'll start tomorrow morning.
I can't wait to hear all about your trip and about the other surprises that your husband had up his sleeve. I am starting to plan a few surprises for our 25th anniversary trip and would love some ideas!
Just Subbed! Just caught up on the PreTR and just in time, b/c you're back! I have always hoped my Hubby would surprise me with a Disney trip, you lucky gal! Hope you had a good time and can't wait to hear/see about it!
We left the house around 3:30 am and you won't believe what happened. We were only a few miles into the trip, sitting at a traffice light when I looked up into the sky and there streaking across the sky was a shooting star. I ask DH if he saw it, but he didn't. Well, I did and I knew that the magic was already starting.
We arrived at the airport and checked in pretty quickly so then we just had to sit and wait for a while.
Our flight ended up being about 30 minutes late.
We finally arrived at MCO and made our way down to the Magical Express check-in counter only to see this.
Yes, that's the line for Magical Express. I think it had alot to do with all the cheer and dance groups that were trying to check-in. It was a madhouse but luckily the line moved pretty quickly. It took about 30 minutes to make it to the desk. I was so excited to see this.
And before long we were boarding our bus. I was so happy to see we got a ME bus and not a Mears one.
I was so happy. It really still didn't feel real. Before we knew it we were passing the official sign, but I didn't get a really good picture. I think it had to do with where I was sitting.
We had to stop along the way and drop off people at Coronado Springs and then we were off to Animal Kingdon Lodge. We got off the bus and were greeted by this sign.
We checked in but our room wasn't ready yet so we walked around and took a few pictures of the lodge before heading to Epcot.
