My surgery is set for Tuesday

I am going in for what I hope to be a simple laprascopic surgery on Tuesday. My doctor is in the frame of mind that my elevated CA 125 is from my cyst (as of 8/26 I had a 4x6x5 simple cyst on the left side) and maybe mild endomitriosis. He is going to have (this is how he put it) a specialist friend of his there too, just in case we need him. He has told me that the worst case scenerio as he sees it right now will be that he has to remove an ovary if it looks funny. I do not know any details yet, except it will be sometime in the afternoon. I have this site marked as one of the places for my husband to come and update that night.

I've had 2 laps for endo. Did anyone warn you about the gas pains afterwards? Especially in the chest area! Good luck!

I just had a laparscope and D&C done last Wed (9/1). Got up walking right away - well that 1st day was only (2) 3min walks!
The gas was the worst part (until 2days ago). By the 3rd day the gas had pretty much left the upper belly.

Tues (after I returned to work) I started bleeding from the belly button. Went back to docs yesterday and he applied silver nitrate - havent had a problem since early this morn.

Doc originally thought I had 3 simple cysts on the left ovary. I had 3 ultrasounds prior to surgery. Once they got in there they found I had adhesions in my left fallopian tube.
