Just thought I would share my advice based on my recent visit to Universal Studios.

1. Those 4 in spiked heels aren't gonna make it past the first flipflop sale stand.
2. It's Florida people, the sunshine state! Wear sunscreen! Lots of it!!!!
3. If you see people getting off the ride soaked to the skin, your white shirt with thin white t-shirt bra aren't gonna fare too well.
4. If you have to stop to look at the map or discuss something with your party, please move out of the walkway. Do NOT stop in the middle of traffic!
5. If you run my kid over, I WILL take you out! It's a theme park, look down for little kids! This was mostly a problem with groups of teens. I found them unwilling to move over to go around people.
6. While I can understand and respect cultural differences, there is no situation where it is acceptable to skip deodorant in 98 degree heat!

Thanks for your time and attention!:rotfl2::rotfl2:

# 4 is my biggest pet peeve at theme parks.

Those are all good suggestions!

i'm going to walk behind the op so he can pave the way for me.....

i hate it when peeps stop dead in their tracks and picture take or map read.

Number 4 has always been a problem. It happens in the malls too.

Now #6 this past trip was horrible. Seems like everyone forgot their deodorant.:scared:

I'll have a #6, and can I super size that order please!

I dont understand why people think they don't stink. I just... I dont understand! :confused3

this made me laugh so hard....:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

I find myself muttering number 4 numerous times everytime I go to a theme park.....

Seriously. That and the people who form massive human walls, taking the complete path, and then walk reallllllly slowly.

Its like the high school hallways all over again.

I agree about walkways. What is worse, is when you are in a constantly moving que, and the family in front hold up the whole line to take photos. I know it doesn't delay the ride time by that much, but I still think it is selfish when the que is actually moving...

I'm a #5 kind of gal... I once had to save my 3yr old from a man on a motorized wheel chair. He actually ran over my foot, which would have been my child if I hadn't put my foot there. I didn't know I had such crazy uncontrollable anger in me. In MK of all places, I almost knocked all the magic right out of him.....

:rotfl: Thanks for the laugh! #4 is my biggest gripe also.

My recommendation?

Relax, have fun and go with the flow. Universal is a cool place. Cool places have folks with all different kinds of styles. Be courteous, and relax and go with the flow. That is how you'll have the best time. *shrugs*

I can add one more that is really something for every day life, not just at theme parks: Don't stare, point or gawk at those who are different. My DD has autism and it gets REALLY tiresome to have people (not just kids but their parents as well) look at my DD as if she is from Mars. She can't help being disabled :sad1: just like a paralyzed person can't help that he can't walk.

Love the list, the deodorant thing had me laughing my butt off!:rotfl:

Tina<-----not trying to be too preachy here but raising a child with autism is hard enough :guilty: , the awkward stares and pointing doesn't help much :rolleyes1.

who is tina?
I just scrolled through looking for Tina too. :upsidedow

I went through a no deodorant phase for a couple years so that one doesn't bother me.

DH - a large hulking man - is soo guilty of #4. Whenever he does it I get all yappy dog on him and make him pull over. Maybe I should take him to the mall and make him practice lol

after hitting my head against the wall, i figured out who was tina.

cuches.

i thought she was talking about tina and then realized that she stated her name and then added her thoughts.

originally i thought she was talking about a gal named tina.

that's why i tried to edit my last post but it disappeared and only had a . in it's place.

i'm so blonde at times i kill myself.....:rotfl2:
