My Store ideas for Disney Springs

Here is what I would possibly like to see at Disney Springs

CVS Drugstore
Supercuts
Monster Mini Golf

If they put in a CVS store, wouldn't there have to be a Wallgreens on the opposite corner?

Seriously some good, practical suggestions.

Eh, I can see the practicality of the CVS and Supercuts, but in all honesty, I think it would be a bad move. DTD/Disney Springs isn't supposed to be a shopping plaza you can find at home. Instead, it is meant to provide unique retail and dining experiences. I'd like to see them come up with something more creative and less widespread.

I agree. Why would I want to go to a store in Downtown Disney that I have at home, and can find elsewhere in Orlando?

Having only been to DTD at DLR, I can see usefulness of some sort of drug store and/or small grocery store on property to pick up things forgotten at home or no room to bring on the plane. I would think at WDW that sort of store would be even more useful than at DLR because the property is so big, those of us without a car can't leave so easily. I certainly would not want to see either DTD filled with boring, ordinary stores, but a little grocery or drug store would be handy. They could give it a cute theme to make it a little more special.

CVS? Supercuts? Where would they put them? Next to the Walmart? I will be extremely disappointed if DTD turns into a shopping plaza with generic stores I can find on any corner here at home. I say no nationwide chains.

Most of the stuff that one might have forgotten is available at the resorts. CVS doesn't really want or need to do anything "small", so that means that a store at Disney Springs would end up being big. Does Disney Springs really need entire aisles of hair coloring and makeup? And greeting cards?

I think you are more likely to find stores that people want to go to that now lie off site. Like the Bose or Sony outlet stores that do very well on (or near) I-Drive. I think they are going to go after the "outlet mall" market which is very popular in the Orlando area.

How about a Run Disney store with all that cool running gear? I'm not a runner, but I sure would like to have a pair of those shoes for my daily walk.

My other suggestion would be Disney Luxury store with Disney themed luxury goods like the full line of Dooney and other luxury brands.

Great idea. My sister was just asking me about the sheets they used on our Disney Cruise, she loooooooooooooved them and wants to buy them. They could sell things like the sheets, H2O line with the Disney packaging/logos, the spa robes people talk about ect....
