I just returned from our awesome trip to the world. We stayed at Wilderness Lodge Villas from 8/17-8/20 with the Deluxe Dining Plan and at Coronado Springs Resort with the free dining bounce back plan upgraded to deluxe dining.

We were not able to pull dining credits on 8/20 from our Coronado Springs plans which created issues since we had planned to use those credits for breakfast on the 20th. My husband spent 30 min at Guest Relations after breakfast getting everything straightened out as we had also planned to use Coronado Springs credits for dinner on the 20th. It turns out that you can not pull from both plans on the same day. Our Wilderness Lodge plan was valid until midnight on 8/20. The Coronado Springs plan was to start on 8/21.

The CMs credited us for the breakfast meals that were charged to the room and added on enough credits to our Wilderness Lodge meal plans to get us through our dinner reservations.

Do you think this would have been a problem if you didn't have the dining plan on the second part of your stay? We are doing a split stay starting with free dining at POFQ and ending with a room only reservation at the Yacht Club. We plan to use a few dining credits on the day we switch resorts.

Had you checked out of your first stay, or checked in to your second stay before trying to use the credits? I'm under the impression that everything should work like you expected as long as you don't check into the second stay before using up the credits from the first stay.

We had not used up all of the credits from the first stay before checking out and then checking into the second stay. We did make sure to check into Coronado Springs before trying to use those credits and we were told at check in that the credits would be available.

You shouldn't have any problems

It should only be a problem if:

1) you are trying to use one credit from the first account and one credit from the second account to pay for a two-credit meal. That can't be done.

2) you were trying to pull from the second room account without having actually checked in to the second room (meaning actually going to the resort and checking in.)

Otherwise you should have been able to use credits from both accounts. It should not matter whether you have actually checked out or checked in. This is a glitch and it happens sometimes.
