My Southwest Credits

I have a few credits and know I will probably never earn enough for a free flight but how many do I need for a free drink coupon?

I have spent the last 10 minutes surfing around the Southwest website and can't find the answer to my question, so I came here

Free drink coupons are only given when you earn enough credits for a free flight. In your case it doesn't sound like you'll get drink coupons.

But sometimes you can buy the book for around $12 from the gate agent, regardless of your credit status.

Drinks on the plane are $5 each. You can buy a 4 drink book at the counter for $16.

the drink books are being discontinued, as of March 2010 they are no longer being sold at the airport
