my sons still can't find their car keys

I can't believe it. They lost two sets in the same day. They need to use their car for Christmas because we need to take seperate vehicles. We have turned everything upside down in the house. All the cleaning I did for christmas, undone. I've lost keys before so I can't be angry. But i've never lost them and not been able to find them. To make it worst the ignition's been changed so it's not the original key. Can't call a dealership to have one made. I don't know what they'll do or what i'll do.
You just know they're in some weird place.

when they are located i would suggest getting a copy made and putting it on a key chain attached to a VERY LARGE ITEM (maybe an old license plate )-something along the lines of restroom keys at gas stations!

we are great for doing this as well, we finaly got to the point where everyone has a copy of everyone elses car key on their key chain (helps with a lockout too-the person called does'nt have to run home to get the key).

check the bottem of the hamper, thats where ours end up (hubby leaves them in the pocket and they fall out when i pull stuff to launder).

My DD got a $5.00 Mcdonalds gift card from her Sunday School teachers for Christmas and we can't find it now. I am afraid I threw it out when I was cleaning last weekend. I know it isn't much and isn't as important as keys, but I still feel bad about it.
