It was a hoot! He had earned some money, helping DH with some major chores and wanted to spend part of it on a Yu-Gi-Oh card.
We showed him how to watch the bids and he keep thinking about how much he wanted to spend. It was like the last 60 seconds of an NBA playoff!
At 1 minute, 30 seconds, I used my Ebay ID to enter his bid. At 1 minute, we were the high bid. He kept refreshing the screen and yelled a little louder each time when my ID was the top bidder. Apparently, our bidding was just at the right time and he was "top bidder" when the time ran out. Hoops and hollers all through the house!!!!!
He is now the proud owner of a Book of ToonWorld card.
(BTW, he knows my Ebay ID but not my password. He kept asking me but I held firm. We could lose the farm if he knew it!!!!!)
