Even though his birthday isn't on the actual day, should we still get him a happy birthday badge? We're telling him on his birthday that we're going to DL. He'll be a whole big 5 :)

I would totally still get the button!! It is fun! My son had one on his 5th and everyone told him happy birthday - they even announced it over the loudspeaker on Astro Orbitor. He loved that.

Wow Kim. That would have been fun. I remember seeing a little girl with a badge on at our last trip and everyone was wishing her happy birthday. What a special day. I just feel like a bit of a cheat seeing as it won't be his real day :)

I would absolutely get the button for him! We are going in a couple of weeks for our anniversary and even though we won't be there on our actual anniversary day, I fully intend on getting an anniversary button! :goodvibes

I'm going on Monday thru Thursday next week to celebrate my birthday, which is actually Sunday. You better believe I'm getting a button & I fully intend to wear it the whole week!! I am there with a group celebrating my birthday that whole time, so it's all good!:thumbsup2

If you see a 40 year old birthday princess with a "Happy Birthday Krista" button, that's me -- say hi!!! princess:

With one caveat, I say absolutely!

The caveat is...make sure he understands why people will be saying HB to him so many days after his b'day. My son wont' even wear his badge the day after his b'day...then again, we've actually been at the parks on his 4th and 5th b'days, so he's had a full day of well wishes, and by the next day he's just DONE with it.

So if your guy knows that people will be saying it to him, and he's cool with it...then absolutely go for it. After all, you'll still be celebrating it while you are at the parks; why not tell people?

And the "aside" to the caveat could be...you could get an "I'm Celebrating" button, to sort of say "we're celebrating that it was his birthday" (not that it will state that), if he might be uncomfortable with the Happy Birthday.

Oh! And also make sure they know it's his FIRST visit, so he can get the First Visit button!
