My son's baseball team/Cooperstown/Continental Airlines (rant)

The flight heading out of New Orleans was late...the knew it in Newark and said they would do all they could to hold the connecting flight (a "puddle-jumper" which seats 38...we had 25 of those seats). That plane was also late getting into Newark. It left (with 13 people onboard) 21 minutes before their plane landed. Here is where I get mad....

They were supposed to go Newark to Syracuse where 4 vans wait....Continental refused to attempt to book them on other airlines, told them to take a bus, said there would be no compensation and they should quit complaining and be grateful they are not spending the night in the airport. So they are now somewhere in the Poconos(in a bus), it is raining and when they get to Coopertown there will be 25 people with NO VANS. They have no idea what will happen then. And tomorrow a dad flying up (with a rental car) has to drive 4 adults to Syracuse to get the vans...all of this in the rain!

Thank you...I feel better...continue on with your lives. (I need to go pack)

That is really horrible! How exciting for those young men to be participating in an event like this and then to have to suffer!
I too would be writing some letters and handing out paper to the boys parents so they could write too!

Magic Kingdom all the way! I first stop at the Small World ride first..I normally sigh happy while sitting in the boat thinking aaahhh Made it. (meaning I made it again to Disney World)

My son's team is also going to Cooperstown (in Aug). Will your son's team be playing at Dreamsparks? (I think that is the name).

I would love to hear all about it when you get back. I have no idea what to expect. I would love details about the Park, the Dorms, the area, where you stayed, what to do, etc.
