This is the only one on the laptop but I may be able to find a good face shot where he had not been fighting LOL

My DH and I LOOOOOOOVEEEEE the UFC! Goodluck to him! Maybe we'll get to see him fight someday!

Nah I am glad they wear them what if someone bleeds .
for the poster that said he was cute ...BLECH he used to be so handsome and then he got those tats they all mean something to him but still yucko.

I will see if I can get a link to his last fight

I think the tattoos just add to the hotness!!!!

Of course he is on the left my nephew with the normal hair is on the right . I do nto know why my son does that to his hair when he fights .When he is not in fighting mode he has really normal hair . And why do his pants look like he is a hobo? better yet why do I pay for those ?

This is sooo exciting! My ds (11) is in MMA and we love love the UFC! Ds has been in ju-jit-su for years and will be testing this month for his brown belt. He has been grappling for 4 years and won the state title this year in his age division. He dislocated his shoulder got it put back in and continued on with the fight. (against my wishes but dad cause the Dr said it was fine) Ds's motto is "I will pass out before I tap out" He is only 11, so he freakin' scares me on what he will be like as he gets older. He starts jr high wrestling in January.

I hope you post the fights he will be in so we can watch, we never miss any! Congratulations to your ds!! I think that it is great that even though you don't get why, you still are supportive and excited for him.

Oh and the tats are very hot, but we (dh and I) have (ahem quite) a few of them ourselves. The hair I don't get either, ds once had me dye his hair blue for a fight.

You are cracking me up because I can hear myself saying the same things if I were in your shoes. But I'm not. Don't be too hard on the kid, he could be hanging around playing video games all day. And you gotta love a kid with character and dimension -- someday he'll show you all:rotfl:

BTW, I think he's cute. I don't mind the tats, the hair well... see, it's just hair thank goodness.

He could be doing alot worse things than fighting. Sounds like he is a good kid (firefighter) who just happens to like this sport. Is it brutal, yes. However, he could be alot worse off. You raised a good son, be proud.

Well the good news is that he can hopefully buy his own hobo jeans now. :p

WOW! That is the same boy you sent me a picture of a few years ago? I never would have guessed it. Congrats to him and a HUGE HUG to you!!!

the funny thing about this kid is that he has a CJ degree and is not old enough to be a cop yet . So this is what is doing to pass the time :scared1:

He is teaching grappling at the MMA gym and still Refs HS wrestling but said he needed to do something on top of that .

He has been fighting alot in the states around TX . He should be on a pay per view next year . He is not doing the show though LOL he said he doesnt like drama he just wants to fight :confused3

With 60 hours of college, he only has to be 18 in Texas, right?

Dallas will not hire you untill you are 21 his boxing cox is a cop for Dallas and that is where he wants to work . I wanted him to work where my DH is a Firefighter but he said he doesnt want to be in a "shadow"

He is a good kid but I wish he would find a new "thing" I wish he would have taken the contract they offered him to wrestle on TV LOL He said he is NOT an actor :rotfl2:

Their website says 19 1/2 with at least 60 hours of college.

It sounds like your son has at least 60 if he has an associates. Or does he have a 4 yr degree?

My DH loooves UFC. I really don't get it. I mean, in wrestling you get a little acting, strutting, gossip (kinda like a soap opera with blood for men). I just don't like watching violence much. Wrestling I can watch except for the chair, no disqualifications, barbed wire, cage of death matches.

But I've watched enough UFC with DH (forgot what he was watching and glanced by accident) and it seems very physically demanding, much more so than TV wrestling. DH is all about some UFC but I really don't get rolling around with a stinky, smelly guy trying to beat the crap out of each other. Must be a guy thing. No offence intended to those ladies who watch:thumbsup2

I must say, however, that should your son ever have a televised match I could be convinced to watch!!:lovestruc Quite a hottie and I like the tats. He sounds like a very active, goal oriented guy that you can be very proud of.

Please post if he does fight on TV. I'll try to figure out a way to watch and drool without DH noticing...........maybe I'll buy a case of beer and let him have at it!!!:rolleyes1

he has a criminal justice degree and is working on a degree in forensics. I have no idea why his coach told him that he had to be 21 .
I try not to encourage him being an officer I know how bad it is in Dallas .

I will post when it is his time to be on the tv : )

You wont believe this but I have never watched a whole fight . I dont like it my Dh travels with him when he fights and I have watched about 3 seconds of a fight on Youtube that the fight place posted .
He has fought a bunch in LA . I dont know why they like him to come there but he is requested a lot for there.

The whole " pass out before I tap out " thing cracks me up . I love it I told my son and he laughed and said " thats my kinda of kid "
