Two years ago I posted that my 3rd grade son thought his teacher was "FINE"...
The truth of the matter was his third grade teacher was just a beautiful woman, inside and out!
That year Michael lost his grandmother, then six months later, lost his grandfather. Through it all, Mrs. Reed was a tender, wonderful support when he was hurting more than any child should.
When he went to the fourth grade she became a 5th grade teacher. Through the ENTIRE year I had to hear "I could have her AGAIN, Mom, I could get her NEXT YEAR!!" ... yes, Michael, you COULD but maybe not... I had to be the BAD GUY...
just in case...
Well, today the class list were posted. They paste them on the doors of the school the Friday before school opens every year. Michael jumped out before I could find a parking space and ran to the lists. I waited, hoping to see him jump instead of slump..
Well he JUMPED!!

I am so glad he has her again. There is nothing like loving a teacher to make a school year so much better!
