My sister is traveling to WDW this January for a conference. She is staying at CS. She will have several evenings without park tickets and then just 2 days to go to the parks. I advised definitely MK and then Epcot or MGM. She will not have a park hopper and this is her first trip to WDW. Any advice on suggestions on non park days, I know she is worried about traveling out by herself, but I tried to reassure her about how convenient disney transportation is.

Also want suggestions on what I can do to surprise her once she gets there with maybe something for her in the room when she arrives, etc.

Since she will be at a conference, she will probably connect with some other conference attendees and do something in the evenings, otherwise suggest that she head down to downtown disney or the boardwalk for some evening entertainment. She could even buy an entrance into one of the clubs in paradise pier.

As for suprising her, contact www. wdwflorist.com to see if they have anything interesting. I would contact them directly via phone, because they offer some additional things not found on their website.

Definitely Downtown Disney. Also, she can ride the Monorail w/o actually getting into the parks. Visit all the hotels. Watch the fireworks from the hotels. Go visit AKL and look at the animals. Go to Fort Wilderness. They have a campfire and movie. Visit the Boardwalk. Have dinner w/ characters. There is lots to do w/o actually going into the parks.

Make sure she has read and studied a guide book. If she does not have one, try your local library first.

She could go to Downtown Disney or to the Boardwalk or maybe visit some of the other Disney resorts.
