She lives in Sebring, FL, which is just NW of Lake Okeechobee, about 2 hrs south of WDW, 1 1/2 hrs. southeast of Tampa. Wilma is likely going to be affecting her.
When I called her today to see what she was up to, I had to ask if she was ready for it. She says yes. I ask if she's gotten her supplies, water, etc. No. She's not worried. She's sure it will weaken by the time it gets to her. It will not be a direct hit. Some weather system will push it in another direction.
While I'm glad she's not panicking, I really wanted to slap her through the phone! (Figuratively, of course.) She's in complete denial and doing nothing to prepare. Makes me mad...she should know better! Prepare a little, already!
