She is a Disney fanatic like I am. (she actually is the one that started my obsession with Disney vacations by harassing me for years to go, when I was single and childless. I thought she was crazy. She had kids, of course she loved it. Why would I??? Being an adult with no kids? HA! I finally went with my BFF at the age of 27...and that was all she wrote.
Anyway...she has always and forever told me she has no interest in the cruise. No matter how often I tell her how awesome it is, she just has never had an interest to cruise. I haven't given it another thought in years.
Friday, out of the blue I get a text from her asking me if I plan another cruise to include her and my niece. OMG!!! OMG!!! OMG!!!! I am so beyond excited!! My youngest DS graduates in June and given a choice between a WDW vacation or a DCL vacation for his graduation, he wants the cruise. I told him it will be in November so we can go on the Merrytime cruise out of NYC. Now..I get to include my sister and be witness to her and my niece's first Disney cruise. She actually said this to me..."This is probably a once in a lifetime trip, so I'll spend the extra money for a verandah." I just laughed on the inside. She THINKS she will be one and done. HA HA HA HA
My youngest turns 18 in Feb. My other two were adults on our cruise last year. This will be my 1st cruise with all adults. It will be weird not checking out the navigator for kids programming.
