My single digist dance started yesterday, and I didnt get to celebrate

Well, as the title says, my single digit dance stated yesterday!!!

I didnt get to celebrate because the night before I was in a car accident. Nothing major, and thank goodness I was alone. I am just really sore, and kinda bummed because that was the car we were driving to the land. And of course the guy that hit me is uninsured. Last year in April we were in an accident a week before our DL trip too. And last year in October, I was in an accident with my dad and sister about 2 weeks after we got back from DL. Coincidence forming here????

Oh well, 8 days left!!

NOT insured?? OMG, in CA that's just bad news for him!! He's still responsible if it is his fault, don't forget that. I really hope you got a police report on it.

If the person who hit you is ininsured, in CA, not only are they still responsible, they're in HUGE trouble legally because of that. I hope that you were able to file a police report to document that!

Thank you everbody!! I am feeling better tonight than I did this morning. We will be going in a rental car unfortunately, but at least I wont have to put the miles on my car!!! I went to the auto shop yesterday to see if there was anyway my car could be ready before we left, he said "No way". I need 2 new doors, and some body work on the frame!!

Yes, I did file a police report once I got home. The officer who took the report knew who the driver was as soon as I said his name. That cant be good!! He must be in the system a little too much. He had been drinking too, so he is in for it!!

And yes, for my future trips, I will stay away from as many cars as possible!!
