After Lurking around the DIS for 5 months without saying a word, I must begin to return the favor after going for the first time. :cool1:

Chef Mickeys: We did this the first night and we had something to eat approx. 2 hours before, we mistakenly underestimated how much we would love this palce. The Food was fantastic! I truly enjoyed everything, I am a veryyyyyy picky eater and this truly was a treat. I especially loved the mickey ravioli and the prime rib was seasoned to perfection. The dessert bar is off the hook, what i would have done for more room.

Crystal Palace Dinner: After hearing all of the great reviews for crystal palace I was super excited to eat here. I was tremendously disappointed. (Please keep in mind that I am very picky) But Fiance eats everything, and we both agreed our fav part of the meal was the Fruit Punch. Everything seemed so bland, even the prime rib had like, no seasoning. Really wished I would have gone somewhere else. I ended up eating pizza and macncheese from the kids section.

Cinderella's Royal Table (breakfast): Had a very early ps @ 8:10 so we were one of the first seated. Character interaction is truly great, they chatted us up nicely before taking our photo. Belle was truly the sweetest. The food was pretty good, those potatoes are amazing! Did not like the sausage, but everything else was good. Did I mention the potatoes? Good stuff people.

Continued Below...

Ohana's Breakfast: I really enjoyed the atmosphere of this restaurant. Very warm and inviting, Our server was great for being so busy (poor thing had half the restaurant to feed). The food is a lot, but between us we managed to get through it and even get another. (why not?) The potatoes once again were great, sausage wasn't too bad, i like the mickey waffles and the fruit was yummy yummy. I'll let the pics speak for themselves.

Sci-Fi Diner Dinner: Fiance was truly impressed by the ambiance of this place. He couldn't believe how cool it was that there was a huge movie screen and everything was so dark like we were actually outside @ night and the fact that we ate in cars was like the coolest thing to him. I was impressed also, I'd heard a lot about it on the boards and at the last minute called for a PS. I chose the ribs and he chose the steak. Both were very very good. The strawberry colodas (yum!) virgin, of course.

Donalds breakfastasaurus: Goodness, i dont think we have ever seen such a variety @ a breakfast buffet before. I was very very impressed. Who would think that breakfast pizza would actually be good?!! It was, and so was a lot of the other menu items, I hade a made to order omelet full of cheddar cheese and well, it was dreamy.

Narcoossee's: This was a very very last minute PS. The night before I called once again begging for a PS to Le Cellier and the lovely CM opened my mind up to Narcoossee's and a final night romantic dress up place. (BTW I was told on the phone that we should be business casual, which we were, but about 20% of the people there were dressed up everyone else looked like they just came out of the pool, so I guess it really does not matter what you wear.) I like this place a lot, Its very classy and dim and romantic. I am allergic to seafood so there was one choice for me and I had the filet mingon. It was really really good. It was a bit rushed because we had to run and catch the final shuttle to avoid paying 35 bucks for a cab (stay onsite people without cars!). The best part was going outside was watching wishes which got both Fiance and I teary eyed because he had proposed on main street several days earlier. :bride: There was also a view of illuminations which seemed to be coming back from epcot on the lake. Very very nice restaurant. Service was also top notch.

All in all, good eats. Really good eats. My next journey I will try Le Cellier, California Grill and Kona. Never again CP. Any questions, post away! :bounce:

Loved the review! The pics would not all come up on my screen though :confused3 . Glad you had a great time!

Yeah me either, I can't see the pics. Great report though thanks! :sunny:

Excellent review. Congrats on the proposal... you did say yes, right? :teeth:

BTW... try using www.photobucket.com for your pics. Geocities doesn't allow hotlinking.

Oh, for next trip... you needn't rush dinner just because MK closes. The buses will still run an hour after closing time. And if you are late, you can always grab a bus to DTD and transfer to another bus back to your resort. (save you $$ in cab fare)

ok thank you for the photbucket tip, gonna do it right now. I did say YES! and I was offsite, so I HAD to catch the peabody bus, (trust me I have LEARNED my lesson.) :wave2:

great reviews! I got to see some of the pics even :)

now I may have to rethink the Donald breakfast :earboy2:

Great reviews , I got to see the pictures too.

I agree about breakfastosaurus, the variety is incredible. I have always been very satisfied of breakfast there.

Saw the pics and loved the review! Would my picky meat and potatoes DH love Narcosees?

Great pics and reviews. Congrats on the proposal.

Next, you have to stay at a Disney Resort for your honeymoon.

Marj70 -- If he is a filet mingon type of guy he would like it, everything else is seafood (i'm allergic so I did not have the pleasure). I thought the meat was very tasty and Fiancee had the mashed while I went the kiddie route with the french fries. I enjoyed it.

John's Mom - Thank you! You are so right, im thinking GF? :) For my bday in feb we are going to stay onsite for the very first time. Very very excited about round the clock transportation. NOTHING beats that! I have so been bit by the disney bug.

wonderful reviews... and more wonderful news on your engagement... congratulations to both of you! thanks for sharing your trip and dining reviews :flower:

Enjoyed reading your reviews ~ Thanx for posting.

Lovely piccies.

Thank you for the reviews and photos! Congratulations on your engagement..I'm sure it made the trip even more magical!!!

Great dining reviews, short and right to the point, and pictures to boot. Thanks so much for sharing, Melissa ;)

Thanks for the reviews and pictures. I have a couple of questions.
1. What is the stuff on the right in he first Chef Mickey picture? Is it roasted chicken?
2. Your steak at Narcooses, was that two layers of steak on top of each other, or was the piece of steak sitting on top of something?

Thanks,
Maggie

Maggie,

I believe that was the chicken in the picture...

as far as the filet mignon it was a pretty thick piece of steak and nope it wasn't on top of anything, didn't look filling when I first saw it but it was!
