Mail call :cool1: My Castaway Club membership with cards and CD is here. I'm listening to my island music now. :cloud9: I'm floating away, back to the white sandy beaches and beautiful blue ocean. :cloud9: haaaa It will be time to clean the kitchen soon.

How do you get castawayclub memberships? We just returned from a cruise and I want to plan another one. I wish I would of thought about it on board but my DH was not in the best of moods. I am planning my next one WITHOUT him.

yeah I was on the feb 19th cruise and I was told you auto are enrolled once you cruise but I have gotten nothing ?

After your first cruise you become a castaway club member automatically.
Ideally you recieve your packet with ID cards in the mail in 6 wks. :cool1:
I am right at the 6 wks out mark  I hope yours comes soon. :flower:

It's too bad you didn't book on board to get the discount. Thanks to this board I planned my next cruise before going on the first cruise so that I could get the discount. I have gotten quotes from all of the TA's that people mention here and have not been able to book it for less. :grouphug:

Just kind of playing around with prices on Disney, we can do an Eastern 7 day Oct 28th-Nov 4th 2006 for 2 adults (son will be 13) and 1 child for $2844.39 in a cat 9. (would not want another windowless room) Who do you think would be the best price based on your research? I have AAA & costco. We used Magicforless this time and received $75 off the price on our land/sea but not entirely impressed.

I wish I would of at least talked to someone on board to see what the price would of been but my DH was being pretty grumpy our entire trip and I didn't want to "rock the boat" anymore than it was. I would pay for this trip out of my own funds from my part time job so it will take me a long time.

3 weeks in oct/nov 2006 including 3 6 day magic plus tickets, 6 nights pop century, rental car, airfare and spending & misc money will be around $7085! ( I like to have more $ than I need- came home with $500 this trip) I have family in FL so we would visit them for a week. I thought 3 days before the cruise and 3 days after the cruise at Disney would be fun. We didn't get to spend much time at disneyquest with our ultimate park hoppers- only a couple of hours or visit the water parks at all.

The older I get the more I see that memories mean more than material stuff. This was our first family vacation in 6 years but that will change with my newly found independence from DH's bank account. I want my kids to grow up with great childhood memories and experiences to pass on to their kids and you do only live once, better live it to the fullest. If I could, I would buy Disney vacation club but my DH hates timeshares and I could never afford it on my own.

I would get quotes from 4 or 5 TA's and go from there. Have you gotten quotes from AAA and Costco yet? That sounds like a good start. :flower:

Good luck :sunny:

And all you said is so ture, memories last forever and kids are kids once. I am sure many of the people I know think I go to great measures with our vactions(DS's 7 and 9), but no one is promised tomorrow. I will do all I can do in this life time for them and my DH. :goodvibes

Have a Disney Day :wave2:
