My Shanghai DL trip -- delayed :-( (+map requests)

Well, folks: I was supposed to leave for Shanghai tomorrow. However, I've been really sick (mono, probably) for the past week. Unfortunately, that means I've had to postpone my trip for a few weeks. But I'm too sick right now to go to the store, let alone halfway around the world.

Hopefully I'll be well enough to go to DL this weekend. If so, I'll mail the maps for the folks who've asked for them.

Oh that's a shame - hope you get well soon!
My 12yr old son and I went to Shanghai D/L last weekend (he turned 12 on Thursday and we went for his birthday).
It was a 12hour journey each way from Perth, Australia. We flew out Friday morning and left to fly back home Monday morning and had Sat / Sun at SDL.
Stayed at Toy Story Hotel. We had a brilliant time and it was well worth the trip. Wait times Sunday were 5 - 10 minutes all day for virtually everything and a beautiful 24degrees celsius. During the week either side was ~ 8-10 degrees celsius so we got really lucky!
Was great to compare the differences to the other parks. We have been to HKDL a few times and will be back there for a day in July.
We have now done all the Disney parks except for Japan - hoping to perhaps get there next year!
Toy Story land is opening at SDL on April 26 so maybe your new dates will fit with that? They were busy testing everything while we were there.

Well -- everything has been rescheduled. I now leave on March 20. I aim to hit Shanghai DL on or around March 28. Feeling a bit better but def not 100%. My doctor thought I might have mono but the test was negative. No one knows what I have. But I seem to be recovering, so...

Thank you! Today was the first day that I felt a little OK. Tomorrow I should be about 90% recovered... or thereabouts.

Thanks! When you book tix for Shanghai, you have to do it for a specific day. I had to get my ticket changed and, fortunately, they were able to do it for me via email. Initially they told me I'd have to call to make the change. Glad they were able to help.
