My roof is leaking

And it was only replaced 2 years ago!!
I just called the company that did the replacement, the job itself is guaranteed for 5 years and the sheetrock and insulation for only one but if the roof is the one leaking I guess they will have to replace it at no cost to me. The shingles are also guaranteed for 25 years. Man I hate this!!
Let's see what is going to happen now, in the meantime my paint is peeling off , you can feel the sheetrock is wet too.
Maybe they can send us to WDW while they repair the roof?? yeah right..LOL.

Olga...is it the roof or do you have ice damming? I know you guys have had alot of snow out there, it happens when the ice in the gutters backs up and gets under the flashing and starts leaking. Either way is should be covered by the roofer.

Patrick we have no gutters so there's no back up there at all, we have had a lot of snow but the roof shouldn't be leaking like that. Either way it goes it's still under warranty so I'm not worried about that, it's just the hassle of getting it fixed now.

Yikes, I hope they come out and get it done soon, before you have damage inside. Good luck and thank goodness it is still under warranty

The guy just called, he's going to come out in a couple of days, I have the funny feeling that this won't be covered but in any case it's nothing major. We'll see, maybe this will be good exercise for dh...paint the entire livingroom!!! LOL
