Well, I got a letter from American Airlines and guess what....

They sent us TWO FREE TICKETS to ANYWHERE in the U.S.!

Isn't that AMAZING!?!?!?!

I didn't really even expect a reply from them, since my friend has issues with AA and sent them a letter over a year ago and never got a response. I didn't even write the letter looking for a refund or credit or anything. I just thought they should know how unhappy we were.

We are really impressed and quite frankly totally shocked.

Although..not too shocked that we didn't quickly book our Sept trip flights.

I'm sorry you had so much trouble with your flights but that is good they did something to try and make up for it.

I had a bad situation with Continental a few years ago and they also sent us vouchers for travel, although ours were in the amount of what we had paid for the plane tickets. I wasn't really expecting anything either, but thought they should know the problems we experienced and the rude representatives we had to deal with.

In any event, looks like you have free tickets to Orlando.
