After reading many many dining reviews here and so many have helped make my decisions for trips in the past and this recent trip. I figured I'd give you a run down of our recent trips dining reviews from this past week. Sorry for no pics! I just got back yesterday and haven't uploaded them yet!

It was myself, Jennifer. I am a 28 year old, lover of ALL things Disney and WDW. This was my 21st trip to WDW and it was wonderful as always! Also, my sister Janine and her DH Sal. We had the free dining plan, staying at POFQ! :thumbsup2

11/12- The Garden Grill
This place gets love and hate all over the boards. We weren't so sure about it but we booked it anyway since we haven't been and Epcot was our arrival day park. Well, we absolutely LOVED IT! We had a table on the outer rim of the restaurant in a nice spacious booth! We were sat right exactly at our adr time, 5:45pm. We checked in a little early just incase. Everything from the food to the character interactions were amazing! They serve an all-you-care-to-enjoy feast of turkey, tilapia, beef, mashed potatoes, stuffing, vegetable medley, rolls and butter. It was SO delicious! We asked for more of the beef, stuffing and mashed potatoes and they gave us so much more on the plate. For dessert we had the berry cobbler with a vanilla bean whipped topping... We were stuffed at this point, but it was awesome and so warm! I will be booking this ADR for next years trip without a doubt! This place gets 5 stars from us!

11/13- The Grand Floridian Cafe - Breakfast
We had an 8:15am for breakfast before our first full day in MK. It was 5 of us for this one and our parents joined us. We have never been here before but seeing the awesome DR's here, I had to book it! Boy am I glad we did because it was so delicious. I ordered the vanilla-laced french toast w/ sausage- one word YUM!!!! My mom and sister also ordered it and loved it. It was more than enough to fill us up. My stepdad and BIL both ordered the ham and cheese omelet and they both thought it was very good! We paid OOP for this meal since the prices were pretty low compared to some places. What a great way to start the morning at MK.

11/13- Hoop Dee Doo Revue
This was my 3rd time here and is a must do for me each trip since 2012 when my friend brought me there for the first time. It was all 5 of us again and my family has never been. They had so much fun here. We went to the 6:15 show. We had a table booked in Category 1 so our table was right at the center stage- Awesome!!!! Everyone loved the food- especially my BIL who is a foodie and loves to eat! They serve salad and cornbread right away.. its just so good! Soon after comes the buckets of fried chicken and ribs. Both are probably the best I've ever had! Unlimited sangria and beer! We loved it! Dessert is brought out and its my favorite... Strawberry shortcake! Yummm!!! The show is always the same but it always feels like the first time I'm there each time! It was hilarious! This is a must do for each trip for a nice evening where we don't have any parks planned

11/14- Cape May Cafe - Dinner
I have only ever been here for breakfast in the past. This was one of Janines picks since they dined there last year on their Disneymoon and loved it. This was another one that I was unsure of because of the not so good reviews. We had a 5:10pm ADR. We took a cab from POFQ and thAt was so much quicker and only $10. We got there with time to explore the Beach Club and look around before they opened for dinner. It was really great! We were sat only a few minutes after checking in. The buffet had lots of great choices... my favorite being the fried clams with an awesome marinara sauce to dip them in. Oh my goodness these were so good. The mac n cheese was so good. It wasn't the same disney mac n cheese you see at most of the restaurants. I was a little disappointed that there were no fried shrimp but I knew that before going because it wasn't on the schedule I had seen online for Friday nights. We loaded up on the crabs. They were so good! The dessert choices were lacking a little bit. The desserts my sister had last year looked amazing but this time it was just mini cupcakes and cookies and a few others that I wasn't interested in. We went to Epcot after dinner and I am so mad at myself for not getting a croissant donut at the Refreshment Port and having that as my dessert. Ah well, there is always next time! I would definitely return to Cape May though. The food was delicious.

11/15- Yak & Yeti - Dinner
This was another new one for us. The menu has always enticed me but. I just never stay in AK long enough to have dinner here. So on this day, we slept in a little and took our time and got to AK around 12:30-1:00pm. Our ADR was for 5pm so that would be perfect. We checked in and were seated right away. Our server was great. I already knew what I wanted to order for months! Lol. I ordered the Tempura Shrimp with veggies, jasmine rice and chili plum dipping sauce. Omg this was awesome!!!! I want this dish right now! It was the perfect amount and not too filling but just right! Janine ordered the Shaoxing Steak and Shrimp and got the steak well done. The waiter never wrote well done so the meat had to be sent back because it was practically mooing! Lol. The manager came over to apolgize but it was no big deal really. They came back with a perfectly cooked steak and gave her 5 more of the tempura shrimp! Score! Sal ordered the Lomein combo w/ chicken, steak and shrimp and he devoured it all! The food was amazing! For dessert, Sal had the chocolate cake- it was good but really rich! Janine and I ordered the famous fried wonton skewers- OMG these were really what the reviews say! Amazing! I ate them all! Loved the strawberries and icecream also! We will definitely go back to Yak & Yeti! It did not disappoint. They gave us coffees with dessert and did not charge us for them because of the mistake with the steak. We thought that was really nice.

11/16- Akershus - Breakfast
This was another new meal for us. We love breakfast so scoring this was awesome! We had an 8:20am ADR. We got there on time and were seated right away. Got the free photo with Belle in her yellow dress! I booked this mainly for that since my sister and I have never met Belle in her yellow dress. She was gorgeous! They have a cold buffet and bring the hot foods to your table, it was a very nice selection at the buffet of fruits, yogurts, bagels, danishes, muffins, croissants, donut holes, an assortment of Norwegian cheeses and meats! It was really great! The hot food came on one big plate... Scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon and a potato casserole. It was all so good! Especially the potatoes... they were delicious! We asked for mickey waffles and they cane out a few minutes later with a plate full of small mickey waffles. We really loved it here. It was $44 a person! That is a bit steep for breakfast but the free photo package they give you is wonderful and I am sure a big part of that price, along with the princesses that come to your table- we had Cinderella, Aurora, Snow White and Ariel. It is not something we would pay OOP for but I cannot wait to bring my niece when she has her first trip to wdw!

11/16- 1900 Park Fare - Dinner
We wanted an early dinner this day since we were going to MVMCP. We were seated on time right at 4:30pm. I had only ever been here for breakfast so I figured why not try dinner. The characters were great... Cinderella, Prince Charming, Lady Tremain, Anastasia and Drizella all get announced in one by one and come around to your table. The sisters were so funny and on point! I must say out of all of our amazing meals all week, this one was the one we really weren't thrilled with at all. The buffet just wasn't anything special. I can remember they had pasta with cream sauce and peas, meats, potatoes, rice but that is all I can remember! I was not hungry going into this and I think when on the DDP, being hungry can make or break a meal. This was the only meal I was not hungry for and it was the only one I said I wouldn't bother with again lol. I ate mostly items from the kids choices. The desserts were cute and the apple cobbler was really tasty.

11/17- Via Napoli - Dinner
This was my first time here and I was very excited to finally have dinner in my favorite WS pavilion! Janine and Sal dined here on their Disneymoon and loved it. We had a 5:45 ADR. It was our last night on vacation and it rained all afternoon and most of the night, but we made it there with time to spare! We were sat 5 minutes after checking in. I could not decide if I wanted to try the pizza or have a pasta dish. I went with the individual Piccante pizza, which was the pizza with the hot italian shredded sausage. It was scrumptious!!! I was so glad that I ordered it! Delicious!!!! Janine and Sal both ordered the Linguini alla Scoglio - Linguini with clams, shrimp, mussels and squid tossed in a marinara sauce. I tasted it and WOW! It was delicious! We finished everything! For dessert I already knew I wanted the Zeppole di Caterina- fried ricotta cheese fritters with chocolate sauce and whipped cream to dip. These were just amazing! I was full from dinner and still ate every last one of these! Probably my favorite dessert of the whole week! Janine and Sal got the Gelato Frizzante. Both said it was very good. But i think my Zeppoles were the winners here!

We left in the morning the next day so no TS on 11/18. Overall, we had amazing meals with the exception of 1900 Park Fare. I cannot wait to plan next years trip and dining ADR's already! Garden Grill has definitely made the cut for the next lineup, along with HDDR, Via Napoli and Grand Floridian Cafe breakfast! Thanks for reading! :thumbsup2

You had some really great restaurants on your list!! GFC for breakfast sounds SO tempting - I love it for lunch because it has one of my favourite sandwiches on property but that vanilla french toast sounds wonderful!!
