My quick take on every WDW table service dining location

I've visited:

Regular Table Service:

'Ohana (dinner) - a must-do for us every trip (although, sadly, I agree with many who think it's been slowing going down hill for years);

Boma (breakfast/dinner) - best buffet we've had (food-wise) at WDW for either meal;

Sanaa - deserves all of the praise it gets (and I'm not otherwise a huge Indian food fan);

Via Napoli - love the pizza (probably our favorite 1 TS restaurant in Epcot);

Teppan Edo - love the experience and food (probably our second favorite 1 TS restaurant in Epcot);

Chefs de France - fun place if you get seated near the window - food wise, pretty generous serving sizes with just okay quality;

Biergarten - another fun venue but the buffet food selection just wasn't for me;

San Angel Inn - unique venue, but very dark and crowded with small portion sizes (of average quality) for the price;

Be Our Guest - another very unique venue but I was not at all impressed by the food;

Boatwright's - an underrated, hidden gem;

Kona (breakfast) - love me some Tonga Toast;

50's Prime Time - pretty fun place - foodwise, generous portion sizes of average quality (but I love the PB&J milkshake);

Coral Reef - dark, dirty, and tired and was not impressed by the food or service;

Whispering Canyon (breakfast) - I perfer the a la carte menu items over the skillet;

Trail's End (breakfast) - not nearly as good as Boma's breakfast buffet but a good bang for the buck (by Disney standards).

Character Breakfasts:

Tusker House - consistently the best overall character breakfast buffet we've been to for food and characters;

Cape May - the most relaxed character buffet we've been to (with the best character interaction and the second best food, behind Tusker);

CRT - the food (with the exception of the pastries) and the service blows chunks for the price you pay and you're herded like cattle but where else can you eat in Cinderella's Castle with princesses;

Chef Mickey's - second most overpriced meal behind CRT but, otherwise, we think it gets an overly bad rap (at least for breakfast - we've never gone here for dinner and never will);

Crystal Palace - the venue is attractive but, contrary to popular opinion, I'd rate the food quality below Chef Mickey's and, true to character, Eeyore always seems to take forever to reach our table;

Hollywood & Vine - everything about this was just meh.

Signature Dinners:

Jiko - our favorite overall signature based on food quality, service, and consistency;

California Grill - not as consistent as Jiko but has a better "A" game when they're on - always wildly busy;

Flying Fish - we liked it better before the refurb but it's still one of our favorite Disney-operated signatures;

Citricos - the quality of food and service has never disappointed and being next to the lobby of the Grand Floridian enhances the dining experience;

Narcoossee's - in our opinion, not on the same level as Citricos and very overpriced;

Artist Point - perhaps the quietest Disney-operated signature and had been one of our favorites until the menu changed to a more rustic flair;

Yachtsman - we've had inconsistent experiences here with the most recent one being very good;

Monsieur Paul - very expensive but we were blown away by the quality and think it's underrated;

Brown Derby - reasonably solid but nothing about the food or service really wows you as compared to most other signatures;

Tiffins - very unique menu with many interesting options but the portion sizes were disappointingly small for the price;

Le Cellier - with the possible exception of the mushroom filet, nothing about this restaurant is signature worthy (effectively, a 1 TS restaurant masquerading as a signature).

Dinner Shows:

Hoop dee doo Revue - an example of something where the whole is much greater than the sum of the parts (the food quality is pretty average and the show is corny but the combination is so much fun).

Thank you for taking the time to make your post! Much appreciated:flower1::flower1:

This may NOT be the right place for this comment.... DO consider the "Non Disney Owned" Restaurants. There are MANY.

Shula's, IlMulino (Swan & Dolphin), everything at Disney Springs. Bull&Bear (slightly off site).....

If looking for really good FOOD, rather than DDP or TIW acceptance - MANY of these take TIW, a few accept DDP with restrictions (mostly at DS). But ALL are very good restaurants. To Boot? Every time that the WDW Reservation System croaks, you can book these restaurants DIRECTLY - often on "Open Table".

Totally agree about Boatwrights. Loved the meal we had there as well as the low-key atmosphere during Easter week.

I did love CRT though, as well as H&V! Didn't have as much as you to compare it to though :)
