With warm weather creeping upon us (at least it is down here in Florida), many will start to head to the beach for some fun and relaxation. Please brush up on your knowledge of rip currents and how dangerous they can be to someone that either is not a good swimmer or can't swim. A young man (only 13) was caught in a rip current over the weekend. Unfortunately, it has gone from a search and rescue mission to trying to recover the body. I wouldn't want to see any of our wonderful DIS friends have to suffer through this family's heartache.

When we went to Cocoa Beach for vacation 10 years ago my Brother was swimming with some kids he met. They were caught in a rip current. If one guy had not heard/seen them they all would have been gone. He saved their lives.
