Count us in on the pain of the outage. My little ones didn't understand that they couldn't watch "Tarzan" or anything else for that matter. At first I thought I could just go out to eat (poor me) but then realized very quickly that everyone was out. We cooked steaks on the grill and ate shrimp cocktail on the side so it wouldn't go bad. We were really roughing it!
We bought pizza by the candle light--sounds like a tiltle to a really bad mystery. My two preschoolers thought it was all a grand adventure. They kept trying to blow out the candles though.
Glad to know that things didn't turn out worse. I'm assembling an emergency kit as soon as I can!
I know it was crasy here for awhile. We were at the haircutters and the hairdresser asked my son if she could do this gentlemen first because he was in a hurry. We said no problem. Well thank goodness he would have had less then half his head buzzed if he had gone first. It was a great lesson. It pays to be nice.
Our power came back on about 2:15 this morning, and scared me half to death, because my computer started up, and a light I had forgotten to turn off before the outage came back on......
