At 8:12 a.m. this morning my beloved baby birds died. We dont know how or why but they did. My mom woke up and saw them all open and eyes closed on the couch. We had to take them away from their mother when they were a few months old beause she kept biting them. We fed them formula, but a few days ago we stopped because they started weaning.
The female's head was twisted and she couldnt move. The males feet were closed up tight and he couldnt walk. They weren't even one year old! I hadn't even named them. Those baby birds will always be in my heart. I will miss you.
Oh my gosh I am sooo sorry! It's devastating...I know. I used to "adopt" birds outside and then the evil cat across the street kept killing them and I would cry and cry. But don't worry, those little birdies appreciate everything you did for them and are chirping away and "singing" your praise in birdy heaven. X 1000
