The plan for today was to hit Epcot. We have never taken advantage of early entry because since we are on vacation we always sleep in and today was no exception. Since, I was the first one to arise I went up to the lounge and grabbed enough breakfast for everyone and brought it back to the room. I also stopped by the 2nd floor and purchased our Eride tickets for Monday night. After everyone was up and ready it was already 10 so we walked over to TTC which is a short walk from the Tahiti bldg.
Once we reached Epcot we ended up stopping at Mousegear and doing some shopping and had it shipped back to our room. Then we grabbed some FP for Test Track. Then we went to the World Showcase our first stop was Mexcio we did the boat ride. Everyone was already hungry so we had counter service in Mexico....... it left a lot to be desired...oh well at least we tried it. on our walk over to Norway I stopped and got a Margarita. The people ahead of us in line had a little girl with them they let her take a drink and the CM the drinks were not for children since they had alcohol but the parents gave her the drink anyway and the little girl was drinking away ..... I shall not judge another person but I was a little shocked at this and the CM said to me I tried telling them but they just wouldn't listen. I don't know what else the CM could have done???
We then headed to Malstrom, Ashlynne was so scared that we were going down that waterfall and then when it was over she said is that all!!!!! we laughed and the people in front of us turned around and said your at Epcot nothing is too exciting here....I personally love Test Track and that is pretty exciting to me my opinion of course
We skipped on over to Germany since Roger did enjoy his mexican lunch he was hungry again...so he had a beer and brat and Ashlynne and I shared some Black Forest Cake very yummy! as we left Germany it was starting to sprinkle and there were lots of black clouds headed our way. We ran over to Japan and went into Ashlynne's favorite store she was in Hello Kity heaven and of course Yu Gi Oh cards were on her mind as well, as we were shopping the rain started pouring. We made our purchases Ashlynne and I both got fans and had our names written in Japanese and Ashlynne also bought a pearl......she has a knack at picking pearls we always walks away with some big ones......she gets a pearl every trip she wants to get enough to have a necklace, earrings and a ring made..so far she hasn't lost any so maybe I'll surprise her in a few years
anyhoo the rain was really coming down so we waited it out for awhile there was a lot of lighting! we finally donned the ponchos and took off...our next country we stopped at was Morocco
we needed to use the restrooms and we happend to run into Aladdin and Jasmine there was no wait and Ashlynne spent several minutes talking with them we got some good pictures as well. After the bathroom break we went to France Roger and I wanted to get a good bottle of wine to take with us on the cruise we did some wine tasting and finally decided and had our purchase sent to Guest Relations. The rain had let up a lot so we went to the UK Ashlynne had to call her grandma from one of those red phone booths. Roger shopped and after Ash was done with her call we sat down and waited...my feet were killing me so I did a little foot massage. The rain finally stopped and I was hoping and praying I would finally be able to get a beaver tail but no they were all closed up. I'm beginning to think I'm not suppose to have a beaver tail I've been trying to get one for the last 3 trips and everytime I go they are closed due to rain and one time the machine was broken....will I ever get a beaver tail???? The world may never know.
We still had some time to kill before our FP for Test Track so we went to the Electric Umbrella and sipped some drinks and hoped that the rain would finally stop. Once we started seeing people with out ponchos we knew the rain had stopped. We got into line for Test Track and had about a 15 minute wait . My family loves this ride we could do it over and over again but the lines never allow that. We bought our picture and Roger took his time browsing the new cars. Roger and Ashlynne both had to have their picture taken in a bright yellow Hummer
We decided to call it a day so we stopped and picked up our wine and headed back over to the Poly. Once we got back to the room Roger and Ashlynne said they needed to swim so we headed off to the pool they swam and I layed back and spent some time reading.....it was nice and relaxing. I really wasn't feeling up to anymore parks so they swam for a good long time. On the walk back to our room we stopped by the beach in front of our bldg. Roger and I sat on a swing and Ash went to a hammock we were the only ones out there until the water pagent started. We watched that then we headed up to the lounge to watch the fireworks since the bugs were getting bad outside. It was so nice to watch the fireworks from the lounge there was only one other family there and Ashlynne sat outside on the deck with them while Roger and I sat at a table inside. As we were going back to the room everyone decided they were hungry so we ordered room service.......I took a long hot bath and the food was there before I was done. We ate I left a wake up call and we were off to bed.......I was so tired!!!
