We slept in again. I woke up before everyone else......It was pretty sad because I knew this was our last full day. I headed upstairs and got some breakfast for everyone. We were all pretty slow about getting ready this morning. I packed up our dirty clothes and went to do some laundry while Roger and Ashlynne did some swimming. The laundry room was packed. I was happy to get that chore done. I found Roger and Ash and we went to Capt Cook's for lunch while eating we decided to head to DD for some shopping. We hit all the stores and of course we spent more than we wanted. We went to Once Upon a Toy and Ash made a Potato head. Then she spent most of her time playing a Lilo and Stitch game while Roger and I dreamed purchasing the monorail and all of it extras that you can buy. We spent the better part of the day shopping. Once we returned to the room. Roger wanted to try to go to MGM again so off we went. Roger and Ashlynne wanted to ride the backlot tour and I wanted to ride RnRC so I got into a 65 minute ride line. I talked with a very nice lady from England so it made the time pass much quicker. This was the first time I've ride on RnRC. My husband and Daughter refuse to get on anything that goes upside down so I decided to ride by myself. I can't believe how quick this ride is. I'm glad I did it but I don't think I will ever do it again maybe I will if I can get a FP. I wished I would've gotten in line for ToT insted. Oh well there is always the next trip. After I met back up with Roger and Ash we decided to ride GMR there was a short wait but we finally got to see the Western Part we have always seen the Gangster version so it was a nice change.
We had packing to do because we are leaving tomorrow for our Disney Cruise and we don't need to downsize our luggage. We got that taken care of then we went up to the lounge and watched the Fireworks at MK. We went back to the room and I left a wake up call so we would make it out of Disney in time to catch the boat.
Mickey woke me up bright and early this morning. I went up and grabbed some breakfast and I woke up the family. Roger didn't want to get out of bed so I had to manually wake him up.....and now if I could turn back time I would ( more on that later) I went to jump in the shower and Roger went around the hotel and took some pictures. I then took care of getting Ash ready. While I was blowing drying my hair I noticed I was missing an earring. I was frantic I searched and searched the room. I found the back in the bed but the earring was no where to be found. It was getting late and we needed to get going so I went up to the Concierge desk and let them know that I had lost an earrring. Jon the same CM who checked us in got up from his desk and went down to the room to look because he was afraid that it would get swept up when housekeeping entered. So while all of this was happening the bellman had arrived to help us out with our luggage and Roger asked him to wait for a few moments he got really smart with my husband because he didn't want to wait. I wouldn't have made a big deal at all about the earring but it was a 1carat diamond earring. Jon told me to go ahead and leave so we would make it to the Port in time and if he found it he would let me know and they would send it back to me. So we left and the bellman gave me nothing but attitude all the way to the car. I felt really bad because he had to wait so I gave him a nice tip and I told him I was sorry he just pocketed the money and drove off in his cart.
All in all it was a very good relaxing trip. We just took it one day at a time and since we've been to Disney a few times and we plan on being back this fall we really didn't feel that we missed to much. I love staying at the Poly and now I fear we are spolied. We have decided to never take a trip in the summer again. We usually do spring and fall trips. It was just to hot and I have MS so I don't handle the heat well. I will put the cruise part of our trip over on the cruise trip boards so if you made it through all of this and want to read the rest you can find it there.......
Also, if you wondered what happened with the earring it was never found. Jon called me the day after we got home and said it was never found. I'm pretty certain that I lost it when I took a shower so it when down the drain. Thankfully, we have insurance so I wasn't to sick over losing it. I think from now on I'll leave the real stones at home where they are safe
