I had ordered Olive Garden GC's from the points I earned in My points some time ago. I emailed them and this was there response:

We sincerely apologize for the delay with your redemption. Due to recent
changes concerning our redemption process, we encountered a temporary
shortage of some redemption items. This shortage has caused your
redemption to remain as an Outstanding Redemption Lien.

This lien will remain in place until the redemption has been
fulfilled/mailed. If the redemption has not been fulfilled before the
date indicated on the lien (11/06/2003), your points will be placed back
into your account.

We apologize for any inconvenience, your redemption should be sent very soon. \End Quote

I was planning on using these for my November trip and I'm afraid they won't get here in time. This is my first items I have earned with my points. Should I see if they could just put my points back so I can get another restaurant gc?? I'm just nervous, we're on a budget, so this would help tremendously!
