My Points questions

I have been doing My Points for a couple of years, but I guess I never ran across this before.
I wanted to order perfume from FragrenceNet. On the Health and Beauty Shopping page, they are listed at the top under "Featured Merchant". Underneath the FragrenceNet picture it reads "3500 brand name fragrences at discount prices and free shipping". There is no mention of how many points for shopping there or anything. I was under the impression that all the merchants listed had some type of point value for shopping, be it 2points per $ spent or a flat point value -- is this incorrect? I would hate to get to the end of the transaction and find out there are no points given for this merchant.

Also -- question #2:
My husband cashed out at My Points for a Bass Pro Shops gift card. If he goes back to Bass Pro Shops (thru My Points, of course) and shops using his gift card, he will receive points again, right? I mean, there is no stipulation stating that points are not given when gift cards are used or anything, right? (I hope that makes sense!) It just seems like a pretty sweet deal -- he shopped at Bass Pro to get a lot of points, then cashed out for a gift card, and now can go back and use his free gift card to get more points (can you tell he likes to fish???). I just want to make sure I'm not missing some loophole somewhere.

Hello!

I just looked at MyPoints. For your first question, on the button that says fragrancenet there is a purple bar on the left side that says "2 points/$" so i guess it's just the standard amount and not a flat rate.

As for your second question, i don't think there would a problem to use a gift card and still earn Points? but somoene else might know this better.

Well, duh! I guess I missed that big old honkin' purple bar! Thanks for pointing that out -- I guess 3 kids home on a snow day will do that to a person. Good to know that now I can smell good and get my points too!
