Before this year, as an AP holder I would avoid the crowded summer months and concentrate my visits from September to May. But I've found a way to face the summer head-on.
With a friend, I'll hit Starbucks at DTD around 7am, head to the DL gate and be in the park for rope drop. We'll quickly take in 4-6 rides, people-watch, wander through a couple shops, throw coins in the wishing well, return to DTD, have an early lunch and be back to my car by 11am ready for the rest of the day to begin.
I've tried this a few times this year and it's been fun, taking the park in little bite-sized portions. I've also found time to add in exploration at the GC and DLH.
