My pet peeves!

Everyone has pet peeves about VMK, here are just a few of mine:
1. getting offered buyables
2. Begging for items
3. Getting offered items i already have
4. People asking to do the quest when it's not meant to be done
5. People trying to scam
and finally, people constantly trade requesting me when i clearly say i dont want to trade.

Does anyone else want to comment or add anything?

i would like to comment on the being begged for items. i dont care cause i give away free every day and help ppl. i have helped over 100 ppl so it is like being asked to be a friend of some on when i get asked for free. just ask belle1997

I can relate to all of those in some way. I can't go to the blue bayou to get my daily credits there without being asked "are you taken?" or "Wanna go out?"

i know, its really annoying
sometimes when im hanging around main street with my friends in real someone will come over and ask me that. There is one simple way to deal with this, "walk away"

To get rid of a few of your pet peeves, just turn off trades.

Not always, but some of the younger players may be actually in the same VMK room as a parent.

Wow! Someone woke up a little cranky? Nobody is telling you what to do, people are just trying to be helpful.
Usually threads on this board are for everyones opinions and comments. Whether they agree or disagree.
So I guess you don't want to welcome any helpful advice on how move on with playing the game, and not have to deal with your list of pet peeves then?
These same pet peeves have been discussed over and over and over and over ... and over again. Maybe everyone is just a little tired of hearing the same ones repeated, and offering advice on how to solve the issues.

What is the point of taken? Why do you want to "go out" with someone you've probably never met, and probably never will meet? Honestly, the concept is creepy, you could be "going out" with some 50 year-old guy and you would never know the difference.

If you want to play taken, go ahead, but in my honest opinion, it's just pointless.
