My pediatrician is a DVCer!

DS had a doctor's appt. today and he wore a WDW t-shirt, and in the usual small talk found out that the pediatrician we saw today is a BWV DVCer. Small world AGAIN! More and more DVCers all the time.

My wife's ob/gyn is a DVC owner too. He owns at BWV. He is a brilliant man.

My Ob/Gyn is a BWV owner too!! So is the "counselor" (don't know what her real title is) of the office. When pregnant with ds #3 I took a trip to OKW. I was a little nervouse, but as luck had it, she was staying at OKW with her family the same week I was. She told me not to worry, if I had any problems she was just a building away!!! Small World!

LOL. Really cool. I have found that a lot of my professional acquaintences are DVC members and I never knew it before!

How cool! We've been members for just over 2 years now, and I have yet to meet a fellow DCVer! I did meet a friend of a friend who saw my bag and said she took the tour but didn't join; but that's the closest I've come!

We found out about DVC through our CPA. His home resort is OKW, ours is BWV. He joined a couple of years after it's inception and received free park passes for a few years.

One of the VP's at my company is a DVC'er. And when I found out that he was a DVC'er, I also found out that his vacation was to begin three days after mine began. And we were both vacationing at the BWV with family tagging along. It is indeed a small world.

How's this for weird? We went to Vero Beach last October for the first time. While at the pool the second day we were there, my then 5 yr. old son came running over saying he saw his friend. I said "Sure you did, honey! Maybe it's just someone who looks like him." Next thing I know, up walks my neighbor's entire family! Neither of us knew the other was coming and didn't know we were all DVC'ers. Pretty amazing! On the same trip, we were taking our kids to the Kid's Club thing and they sat all the children down to ask their names and where they were from. Four of the kids plus two of mine were all from Kentucky. Upon talking to their parents, they were all from the next county over from us and we were all teachers! Talk about a small world!

Our family doctor - pediatrician too - is also a DVC'er. She knows exactly what we need when we visit our second "home" or take a cruise on DCL. Works out great, and we are never at a loss for conversation during office visits.
