As many of you know, I have been having some breathing problems, well lastweek they ruled out that it was my heart.
Good News there. I went to see my Primary Care Dr. today, and he is just wonderful doc to have! I have now developed a rash, it does not itch or anything, and is only on my neck and upper chest.
My dr. told me I have an "Opportunistic Infection: OK what the heck is that? Well it is very complicated to explain, but transplant patient's can get this, which is rare, but this is also a strong indication that I also have Broch. Pnuemonia! (which they believe that I might have had for some time). This is most likely why I am having so much shortness of breath! They believe the infection is in my lungs real bad, and I may also have cyst in my lungs, etc. but no lung cancer! I also showed the dr. that I am having some pigmination on my skin, he said that is most like a fungus! Oh joy! The Dr. did want to alarm me, but he did me that this could be very serious!
On Thursday, I will have a biopsy done on the rash, today I had a ton of blood work, etc. Next week I will see all kinds of Dr.'s and even the transplant team! Sounds like I will have a ton of major test done as well. My PC called every Dr. today on the phone and gave them all his finding's etc. and they will all work together to figure out just what is going on, etc, and the best treatment! I am not contagious.
So I told the Dr. that I was going to go ahead and plan my trip to WDW, he said that I should not travel nor make any kind of plans. He did tell me that he is worried, that this may be serious. Tonight, I am a little scared now myself. But guess what, I've got some of the best Dr's and my attitude is I am going to beat this one too!
Tomorrow I will rest up as I start on Thursday throu May 1st. with a ton of test and Dr's. Wish me luck and keep those Prayer's coming! I am going to have to keep dreaming of WDW!
