Umm, not to rain on your rofl parade or anything...but while you are seeing the map screen, you are still in the room you were last in. You appear in that room to others until you click on a new location to go to...you can still recieve trade requests when you are on map screen...so technically you were still the the room and VMK isn't that lame....

No. If you hit cancel or get booted, you ar not in a room.

If the little X is still at the top right of the screen, then you are still in whatever the last room was that you were in (as it is in the photo). If the X is gone (as when you leave to try a host room etc.) then you aren't in a room As long as you haven't actually clicked to try to enter another room, you are still in the previous room.

If someone is in my room and they decide to join a Host game line, they disappear. They are not left silently standing in the room.
