Our upstairs shower faucet was leaking badly, I took it apart and one of the ceramic disks had cracked. I spent all morning driving around looking for a replacement cartridge, Home Depot, Lowes and 3 plumbing supply places. Nobody had the parts (and home depot sold the faucet). At all of the plumbing supply places they rolled their eyes and told me they couldn't get parts, they were junk etc etc.
So I came home, hopped on line and went to Price Pfisters web site. They had a customer service number, I called and experienced the MOST ANNOYING voice mail system I have ever ran into in my life.. please say your name, please spell your name, please say your address...GRRRR.
Finally I say the heck with that and hit 0.
I wait about a minute and a half and spoke to a very nice man. He knows exactly what I need. He then asks if we have another shower or if he needs to overnite this. I ask what the price difference is.
He says "there is NO charge either way sir, Price Pfister has a lifetime warranty"
HUH??? They are not only going to give me the part with NO baloney they are willing to overnite it for free????
Total time on the phone- 10 minutes
