My New Power Chair Has Been Ordered!

I'm so excited. It has been a long, hard process to get to this point. But, today I got the word from my seating specialist that he was going to order my new power chair. He was also going to switch my seating system from my old power chair to my new one. Which would save the headache of Medicare denying it because they would've denied my new seating system, and my new power chair both.

It should be here in a few days from what my seating specialist told me. It has to come up from the manufacturer in California on a freight truck. The customer service rep who works closely with my seating specialist is going to call me when my new power chair comes in to set up a delivery date.

Here it is. Had to go through a lot of red tape, hurdles, and bumps in the road along the way. But, it's here. That's me in it smiling. I took it to show my dad. He lives in an assisted living facility, and he loved it. My mom hasn't seen it in person yet. Only in pictures. But, I told her I finally got it, and she's happy for me. I can't wait for my Disney World trip coming up real soon.
