I got that kind of freak-out call to go back for another test once, and believe me, I did freak out. But it turned out to be nothing. There are so many benign conditions out there that laypeople have never heard of. Sometimes doctors don't realize how scared people can be when they find out they need to be tested, especially a second time, and how inevitable it is for a patient to worry about the worst happening. The docs are just moving ahead, doing their job, needing to rule-out more than rule-in. Until you know, you don't know, and I'm betting that it's something benign. Anyway, good thoughts coming your way.
