My nephew is home from the war!!!

My nephew, Michael, arrived safely home from Iraq last night after serving one year with the National Guard. He's enjoying the weekend in Stendal, IN, then it's debriefing and back to civilian life. He can't be deployed for six months. My sister is beyond happy to have her son home. He turned 22 while he was gone.

Just wanted to share my good news.

Thanks so much for your good wishes. My dad IM'd me this morning and said he looks different. A baloon popped and he flinched and ducked a little. It's so sad to know what he's been through, but glad to know that he's home. He will start college in the summer semester. He want's to be a homicide detective.
