My neighbors...

Oh good. Its like my "Dead Man Walking" thread. Pictures WILL be required by the way.

One person gets out and goes to the front of the house and puts a bag in the front window behind the bushes. Then they get back in the car, park in the driveway and go in the house.

Okay so here's where I'm confused. The person in the passenger side gets out, does the bag-drop thing, then gets back in the car so the driver can park in the driveway? What's that all about?! WE NEED INFO! ;)

I'm in too! popcorn::

Do they throw the entire bag in the window or do they dump something out of the bag?

If they were feeding an animal I would think they would dump the contents out. Or, maybe the animal is so vicious that it eats the bag too.

Maybe the vicious animal is in the garage, so they can't risk carrying the bag through the garage! :thumbsup2

Seriously, don't you think there must be some reason they can't be coming through the garage with this bag? Maybe it's a surprise for someone in the family who would see them as soon as they walk in? Hmmm....now I have to admit I'm intrigued....

Count me in.....patiently waiting for more details. popcorn:: By the way, I am curious and like to be informed, not nosy! :lmao:

Answering more questions....

The bag type: white paper bag like a medium size McDonald's bag, but NO writing on the bag. ALWAYS the same type of bag. The ENTIRE bag goes in the window.

Window description: Goes to the only level of the house. There is no basement, no second floor. There are three windows on the front of the house. It goes in the window furthest from the door.

Drop off: the passenger gets out, does the drop off, gets back in car. driver pulls car into driveway. driver and passenger enter house together through the door. The car never is parked in the garage. I have seen that garage door open and trust me you couldn't fit a peanut in that thing.

Description of residents: mother, father, 2 sons (early 20's)

Pets: They have a dog. It's a pit bull, but it's outside regularly on a leash and doesn't seem too be too crazy. It will bark if I'm outside, but they tell it to be quiet and it does. So I don't think it's the dog they are throwing stuff for. The dog seems cooperative and follows their directions.

It's just too weird. I have my camera out so I can snap a photo if the drop off takes place tonight. I was gone this morning to the doctor and hospital for a terrific blood draw of 9 tubes, :scared1: so hopefully I didn't miss it today.

Bless your heart for thinking of snapping us a photo! I hope you're feeling better soon. And I hope you figure this out, as well. ;)

The window is not open all the time. They are opening it from the outside. The window is partially hidden by WAY overgrown shrubs. They seem to toss the bag in the window. THe house is one story with 3 steps at the entry. So, I am ruling out the heavy bag theory.

They distance from the window to the driveway is maybe 20 feet. The distance from where they stop the vehicle to the window is maybe 15 feet.

Hmm, have you seen each member of the family this week? Maybe one of them has been mauled by the pitbull in the backyard and they are afraid to let the person out because fido will get put down.........Ok, really bad joke. Just making light of all the pitbull threads gone wild.

I have to admit, this is the most intriging thing ever. I'm dying to know what is in that bag and why they have to put it in the window then get back in the vehicle!!!!!

Hope you feel better soon hun! But hey, at least you have something interesting to think about and do during this! :lmao:

My guess is that the neighbors know that they are being watched and are trying to make things intriguing... Have you met the neighbors? You could always ask them when you feel better enough to be taking a stroll across the street.

How many of the family members have you seen involved in this activity?

If it is all but one, could they be hiding something from that person?

I forgot if you mentioned the ages. Like are young kids involved, or teens?

Mikeeee

I am sending a GPS tracer for you to hide on their car. When it stops we will look up the address. Heheheheheheee
If that does not work we will have to task a satellite to follow them...

I don't think they know we are observing. They truly seem oblivious to their surroundings. :lmao: :hippie:

I've seen all the members of the family today outside at various times. The mom left in a van with some guy. The dad left in his van. The son then left ona bike and came back with a mountain dew. The other son paced around the driveway on the cordless phone for at least a half hour. The mom came back home in a different car than she left in.

wow, interesting...

Are these minivans or the creepy conversion vans?

Mikeeee

I don't know who the "Dad" is...he must be new, but the other three are Momma, Jake & Francis Fratelli.
Don't worry they're just feeding Sloth!:thumbsup2

Hmm, I wonder why they don't pull into their driveway first, then drop the bag. Or just bring the bag into the house with them. If it's a bag containing something illegal, it's not exactly sly of them to pull into the driveway & enter the house right after they do it! :scratchin

Hmmm.....My guess at this point is that there is a grandma inside who never comes out. I think maybe they're sneaking something in that they don't want her to know about. :confused3

COuld the bag have towel animals in it?

I was totally thinking the Goonies too! :rotfl2:

They must be feeding Sloth the bags. Maybe it's White Castle and they are afraid to go into that room!

I have been thinking the same thing for the start, but I couldn't remember Sloth for the life of me. :rotfl:
