Does this seem impossible to do timing wise? I know the schedule for this year isn't out yet, but I have heard it doesn't change much.

8:45 ‘Twas The Night Before Christmas
(Galaxy Place Theater)
9:15 Holiday Wishes

10:45 Parade in Frontierland

Got to give the kiddo's a nap before this night!!!!!

I've never gone, so I'm curious what other Dis'rs say. We are planning on getting to the park between 4-5pm for MVMCP, so haven't planned everything yet.

Have a fantasmic time...can't wait...it's our first MVMCP :woohoo:

Keep in mind you can enter at 4:00 pm with your MVMCP ticket. You could get some rides done before the 'party'.

(Fortunately, but) Unfortunately,I have dinner reservations at 4:30, so I don't anticipate getting over there until around 6:00pm. This is my first MVMCP too, I am :yay: !!!!

Just keep in mind that things don't always go as planned; be flexible.

Also, the time goes by SO fast, especially when trying to do both shows, the fireworks and the parade.

We focused on the shows, parade and fireworks last year and only rode maybe 2 rides!

If your kids are still napping age, they would probably enjoy Donald's Christmas Tree Lot and the Character Hop, which I didn't notice on your list. I agree with previous poster -- I would concentrate on the shows, parades, and fireworks and save the rides for another time.

For those you you going to the park at 4:00, it's a fantastic time to ride the rides. People really start clearing out after the afternoon parade on MVMCP nights, so you can knock out a lot of the rides before the party.

You need to remember that this year there is a Wishes at 6PM so the parks will not clear out till after that. Main street will be packed with people coming in for party and those leaving. My plans are to get into the park at 4PM and away from Main street to avoid the crowd. Also as stated plan for the shows and parade not rides. Although doing a couple of rides before the party is possible if you enter at 4PM.

Oh, I hope we can see the first set of wishes when we get into the park. My kids would love Donalds Tree Lot, My DS favorite. What is the Character Hop about?

Thanks everyone for your tips.

I am a commando planner, but we dont always stick to the plan, with little ones you have to expect the unexpected, so its more or less guidelines if everything happens to fall into place.

The first WISHES will be the "regular" one, but later in the night the WISHES will be the holiday edition. So you may want to skip the 6:00 one.

We will also be going to MVMCP for the first time on the first night!! I am so excited but have no clue about what to do and what time! I'm glad you posted this so I can see what you have planned and what would work for us. We have ressies for dinner at 6:10pm at Tony's. But we plan to enter the park earlier to get on some rides.

Where did you find the times the shows were from last year?
