My Mom's Birthday Friday March 13th :)

So me and my Mom are going on Friday the 13th to DL. We will be having dinner at the Cafe Orleans and I am getting her a special order Birthday cake.
I am very excited! Anyone have any good ideas for making it even more special?

Definately get her a Birthday button, they're not just for the little ones. The CMs will be wishing her a happy birthday all day and sometimes some extra special magic happens

Are they doing special order cakes in park restaurants now? If so, yay!

Definitely agree on the birthday button - it is so fun to hear all the birthday wishes. I also think the birthday call at City Hall is fun, even for grown ups.

I do think they are doing cakes at sit down restaurants. Ill be calling the dining line tomorrow to make ps for CO. Ill let you know when its done.

Well, I just called and made PS for CO at 3pm. I asked about the special order birthday cakes but they only have 2 kinds , one for young girls a princess jewelry box with a mirror,and one for young boys a pirates treasure box with a compass. Now if if were me, I would totally dig a princess birthday jewelry box cake with the mirror, but my mom, is actually a full time adult. So, I may or may not get the cake. But we will see....I may just have to get her the cake, she could the magic

yes, I did. I have been thinking about it and I have decided to get her the cake. she will laugh and be a bit embarrassed but who cares right? after all , how embarrassed can one be wearing a large birthday button AND Mickey ears?

on the Dl website,the little cakes are $15.99 ea. Not bad for a "special cake".
I didnt see a pic but , thats cool, I want her to have a cake and to hear "happy birthday" sung to her and to blow out the candle.
I just want it to be special.

I will take lots of pics. I did call back last night and order the cake. I also had a GREAT conversation with a lady named Jen on the dining line. She was really sweet. We ended up talking about The Girl Scouts and how I was one and she is a troop leader and her daughter is a Girl Scout. It was a really nice talk.
I love Disney People.
Anyhoo, yep Moms Birthday is sure to be a hit.
Ill do a mini TR after.
