My Mittens Kitty is gone.

I can't believe how hard it hit me.

She was 10 years old, and had been around all my married life, and been there waiting at home when I brought both my kids, another kitty 9 years ago and just this weekend a kitten for her to mother. She was just starting to come around. I feel so bad her last few days were filled with fear about the kitten.

I am thinking about making the new kitty's middle name Mittens.
