My Minnie 15K pics

Thanks for all the encouragement and support over the last few months and more so when I freaked out last week not knowing if I could do this or not! The Minnie 15K was my first race ever but won't be my last!! It was dedicated to my Mom who passed away in December.

Of course I didn't sleep well the night before, maybe 4 hours tops. Between nerves and having a room at ASSports next to the pool with screaming kids until midnight, I tossed and turned. My DH works at ASSports so I told him next time, we'll take a room in the back next to the woods with no noise! Up at 4am, out the door at 5am.

I had my grumpy DH get out of the car to take this pic of me when he dropped me off at AK.

Finish line in sight!! This is pungodingy's (Angie) sister who I walked/jogged with for most of the way. What a great group of ladies!

My official time is 2:17:07 so thats under my goal of 15 min/mile pace!!

The route map. Did I just do that?! Oh wait a minute, YES I DID!!!

At home, after a shower, nap and food!!! Ready for the next one!

Sorry about the "Grumpy DH" thing and I must say it had me laughing. He is a good sport that he did take the pic though.
