My MIL is going back to school!

My MIL is over 65 and is going back to college! She got her Masters in Psycology when she was in her 50's and has worked with CPS as a trainer in the Foster Care programs. She is going back to get a degree in grief counseling. When she retires from the county she wants to be one of the ones that schools and businesses call in to handle loss. (like after a school shooting or death of a student) I give her a big thumbs up...thats alot to undertake at any age much less in the late 60's.

I'm still trying to figure out what I want to be when I grow up...sadly, I'm already grown up.

That is just awesome!!! Good for her!!!! I have women in my nursing class ranging from 23 to 53 and I think it's terrific when older individuals go back to school! It's never too late to follow your dreams!!!

Wow! let her know she is a great inspiration to me, I'll be going back next fall at age 42. I love to hear about others going back!

I think it's great that she's doing this. Plus she still is working full time on top of pt school...she shows me and my children that it is never too late to follow your dreams. (can you tell I like my MIL?)
