It was a small one (TIA) and she won't need physical therapy. She may be released from the hospital in the morning.

As I was leaving the hospital this afternoon, she said, "Lori, please don't cancel our trip to DW. I want to go and have my family around me." I promised I would wait and see how she feels in the next 2 months.

My ILs have never been to DW and after she saw our family videos she begged me to plan a family trip for her. I have been busy this past week making all of our PSs and planning all of those extra magical things for her. My prayer for her is that the doctors will find the cause of the stroke and she will have a speedy recovery. Then, I am going to show her the best of WDW!

If you're still reading, thanks for listening. Her name is Ethel, if you would like to lift her up in your prayers.

Thanks,

Lori

Prayers are on the way for Ethel and the rest of the family too. Hope they do find the cause and you all get to have a fabulous trip together!!!

My MIL had a similar type of stroke a few years ago, didn't need therapy either.

The trip will be real good for your MIL I'm sure....

I'll add her to my prayers that her recovery is as easy as pie. :)

Have a fun trip!

Prayers on the way for your MIL and for your family. I bet she be fine for the trip and I hope you have a wonderful time!

Prayers to your MIL! Best wishes for a speedy recovery!

I do hope all goes well and she's able to see WDW - I think it would be just the right medicine - for anything.:D
