Just returned from using the Midway Park Saver lot, which we got with one day free (rate is $6.20 per day) via http://www.airportdiscountparking.com/
I was SO happy to find this lot, as I hate taking shuttle buses, and I prefer lots that are not officially associated with the airport (they're always so overpriced). It is located right near the Orange Line trains, so you can literally walk to the terminal. We took Pulaski...it is on 59th St., between Pulaski and Cicero. The attendant told us there are 1600 spots, and an internal bus circles the lot if you have to park in the back and don't want to walk to the front. We got a good parking spot, and I loved being able to just walk to the airport.
The only thing I didn't like was the fact that it was very tight, with little manuevering room. I know that's a norm for the city, but now that I have an Aztek (yes, I admit to driving an Aztek), I'm still getting used to parking and handling a larger vehicle. It can also be a bit frightening crossing the street, but I prefer that to the shuttle bus mess.
If you are going to be flying from Midway, definitely check them out. Be sure to get your coupon from the discount parking website first. And one caution: THEY DO NOT ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS, so you must use cash.

I just used this lot too. It is a tight fit especially if you have a bigger car/truck (I have an explorer). It is quite a hike to the terminal so I would recommend dropping luggage off at the terminal first (which is what we always do anyway). I was a bit uneasy walking to the terminal (it was about 4:00am) especially when I came across a homeless person in the walkway. I have to admit I never felt that way in the $9.00 lot.

You cross 59th St., walk to the Orange line, go up the stairs, walk down a hallway, cross the parking garage, take an elevator one floor (don't remember if it was up or down) then down a short hallway and come out by ATA. As I said, I wouldn't want to do this carrying luggage.

Would I use this lot again? Maybe. It is probably silly but I just felt me and the car was safer in the $9.00 lot.

Goos point about the luggage...we didn't have a lot, so the walk was very easy for us. But it would be a challenge if you have a lot! The only thing that really prejudices me against the $9 lot is my major hatred of shuttle buses. That's just the way I am, but I know a lot of people don't mind them. For some reason, I'd rather do a hike than take one. Of course, my REAL preference is the parking garage, which is so wonderfully convenient. But due to the expense, we only use it on very short trips.
Speaking of the garage, here's a little tip: When all of the other lots are full, you can sometimes get it for the same price as the offsite lots ($9 a day). The trick is, you have to drive up to the blue or red lot and get a coupon. They were not giving the coupons at the yellow lot...I just lucked into it. That had to be the best Midway parking deal ever!
I also kind of like the remote-remote lot that is almost by Ford City because the shuttle bus for that one is rarely crowded, but they only open that one when all of the other lots are completely full.
